Sustainability

Sustainability

Packaging is a fundamental component of supply chains, providing benefits such as product protection, consumer information, safe and convenient handling and product marketing. It makes a valuable contribution to sustainability by protecting the product, preventing product spoilage or breakage, preserving the resources invested in the product and ensuring it reaches the end user fit for its intended purpose.

Sustainability drives our research, our innovations, our supply chain, and our operations. Sustainability is fundamental to everything we do. In a world of diminishing resources, climate change risks and increasing attention on business ethics and accountability, a focus on the planet, community & prosperity gives us an operating framework that will ensure we capitalize on the opportunities created by the challenges of an ever-changing global environment.

Everyday we consider the legacy we want to leave behind.  For BELLWYCK, running a sustainable business means an opportunity to improve our operations by managing the impacts we have on the communities and environment we operate within while creating value for our customers.

We use SFI and FSC approved board and are actively identifying, separating and capturing recyclable materials from our waste streams.

Our Initiatives:

  • Responsible for the preservation of 38,398 trees per year and the saving of 181,886 cubic feet of landfill space reducing 80% of waste materials going to landfill over the last 8 years.
  • Bellwyck team members participate in community clean-up initiatives.
  • We use SFI and FSC approved board and are actively identifying, separating and capturing recyclable materials from our waste streams.
