Each month, Bellwyck Pharma Services will be shining a spotlight on some of our brightest experts in our Meet the Team Spotlight features.

For December’s spotlight, we’d like to introduce Jane Cherry – Bellwyck Pharma Services’ Manager of new business at our Commercial Facility.  Jane has been with Bellwyck for more than 11 years and has been an integral part of Bellwyck’s clinical team.

We sat down with Jane to discuss her experience in the clinical packaging field.

Here’s what Jane had to say:

What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?
There is no typical day! Which is what I like most about my job. My day usually starts with checking email and from there it can take any number of turns – going out on the production floor, working on quotes, meetings or teleconferences with customers and internal teams be it on new projects or troubleshooting on an issue we may be having.

My big project right now is working with a number of our customers and our internal team at the site to ensure they meet their targets for serialization. With the November 2018 implementation in the US, and the upcoming EU requirement for early 2019, this is still a very active project, and a critical component for all of our clients anticipating their NDA’s in the coming months.

What is your favourite part of your day?
Mornings. In enjoy coming in seeing what the day holds and then working with the team here to get things done in order to deliver on our exceptional service objective!

What do you like most about working in the pharmaceutical packaging industry?
The thing I like the most about working in the pharmaceutical industry is that I get to be involved in new product introductions and launches; it is very satisfying to know that I was able to do my part to make each one a success.

What do you find most challenging about working in the pharmaceutical packaging industry?
Working in a production environment, sometimes it can be challenging to balance customer expectations and production realities – but – with every challenge comes an opportunity to find a new solution or a better way of doing things!

What is the best advice you were ever given (work, life, success related)?
Do unto others as you would have done to you.

What is one of your favourite inspirational quotes?
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” – Pele

Bellwyck Pharma Services would like to thank Jane Cherry for her hard work and dedication!
